WHY I WRITE

This was the first project from my gateway course for the Sweetland Minor in Writing.

In this essay I search myself for why I write. I talk about my journey as a writer, and my ambitions. This was a fun piece of writing to create as it allowed me to really search myself and my writing.

The 'Writing Manifesto' is a proclamation of my feelings and reasons for writing. It is a short poem, but predicated the essay to the left, and should add to your understanding of me as a writer.
