Re-Purposing a Piece

 

For this project I had to re-purpose an older piece of writing.

 

I found a piece of writing from my sophomore year of college, and decided to re-purpose that. This piece of writing was about a page long, and simply gave a fresh thought on what happens when people die. I took those themes of death and the afterlife and created a completely new story. Because of this, it is more a re-purposing of theme and mentality than of the original piece. The final product is a 22-page short story centering around two terminal cancer patients who become best friends.
